They also kept making soundtrack for Sonic Mania,
the latest is acolaboration between Tee Lopez and Jun Senou.
Seeing  that they're really trying to keep the spirit alive, are they may be preparing a sequel?

Man I hope so. Sonic Mania is a game that brought classic sonic back but it was also like the franchise was put on hold for a long time so it isn't weird that they tried to reinvigorate classic sonic first. I think it's time they evolve him now!

It is actually unbelievable how popular a lot of sonic mania stuff has been for SEGA and their sonicthehedgehog youtube channel. I mean this thing can only have done good things for their channel; sub count has risen a lot since for example. This is not even about the games, this is about classic sonic in his shorts which has nothing to do with the quality of games but instead simply appeal.
