That's a great video! I enjoy their analysis. Still, I think the Saturn port of Daytona USA is admirable in a lot of ways. In spite of its limitations, it's the kind of conversion that could actually help you practice for when you go to the arcade, especially if you play with the racing wheel. It also still manages to be a fun game.

As for the 360 version of Daytona... come on backwards compatibility!

They used some of George's video of SEGA Racing Classic.

Arcade players rejoice. Daytona Reloaded is coming !!!

Quote
At the AAMA Gala, Sega is bringing back one of their beloved franchises, Daytona USA, but I’ve had next to no information beyond the title of the game which was labelled Daytona Reloaded !!!

I could see it being SEGA Racing Classic with the Daytona license back in place and some new improvements as well as a new cabinet. Might not be the full-on sequel people want, but that still would be cool.

If the Daytona Reloaded rumor turns out to be true, it sounds like a remix game. I hope it has Daytona USA 2 tracks and it also comes home.

September 1, 2000: Daytona Dreamcast is shown at the ECTS show in London, to the surprise of the crowd.

I doubt it's a sequel since it uses Reloaded in the the tile . I don't mind that , be lovely to see Daytona USA with cutting edge graphics running on a new board using the best tracks from Daytona USA 1,2 and 2001

... And of course it's very unlikely that it will be realized in that way, But if that were it would be ideal.
