Animated “GOLDEN AXE” series in the works by Mike McMahan for Comedy Central

The fact it's for Comedy Central... I have my doubts.

But for someone like myself who just isn't a "Trekkie", I ended up enjoying Lower Decks more than I thought I would. I liked its causal comedy with Star Trek tongue-in-cheek lore all the while I enjoyed the adventures and animation.

So while I would love a Golden Axe TV series that's more along the lines of a heroic fantasy than just a trio goofing around in a fantasy world, I have a feeling MikeMcMahan will come up with something good for Golden Axe.
