SEGA Talk Podcast: Power Stone (1999)

--- Quote ---Power Stone was the go to party game, just invite a few friends over and take turn beating the crap out of each other.
Nothing like dodging a chair thrown at you, stopping your friend from getting a Power Stone on the map and transforming into a beacon of ass kicking badassness.
A must have for anyone with a Dreamcast.

Capcom’s Hideaki Itsuno wants to make a new Power Stone on Nintendo Switch

--- Quote ---“I still get messages from fans about the game.
People tweet requests to me to make another Power Stone, which I’d love to do if I got the chance.
It would be a particularly great fit for the Nintendo Switch.”

SEGA Memories: Remembering the launch of the Dreamcast

--- Quote ---I don’t think I’m overreacting when I say that the Dreamcast had the best game US launch line-ups ever.
Sadly, the Japanese got screwed over with Pen Pen Trilcelon, Godzilla Generations, July, and a bad port of Virtua Fighter 3tb.
But we here in the US, well we got lucky, SEGA announced they would be launching with 19 games that you would be able to pick up day one!

The Untold Story Of The Bug That Almost Sank The Dreamcast's North American Launch

--- Quote ---Former Sega tech staffer John Byrd discusses a bug which, he claims, has never been spoken about before now.
Days before the machine's North American launch in September 1999, he was getting feedback from journalists that certain games were causing their Dreamcast consoles to crash randomly, and that the games in question were all created by the publisher Midway.
While only Midway's games were encountering the crash, if Byrd couldn't find out exactly what was causing it, there was the danger that it could potentially be present in other launch games – or future ones.
