MAIN RACES IN REKNUM
Reknum Kingdom is home to the Elves of Light, Warriors Race, and the Argos though other humanoids lurk for one might see a fairy and if truly blessed: a Goddess.
You may have heard of the distant land and of the legend of the power within it.
ELVES OF LIGHT
Though humans long ago were the inhabitants of Reknum, fusions of different kinds changed the people over time. The Elves of Light were formed by the Crystals provided by the Goddesses, twisting the genetic makeup of the humans. Lithe and naturally powerful beings the Elves are fair people with pointed ears and affinity for magic, lighter weaponry, and are crafty with a bow. The first of the Elves of Light were decreed rulers of the humans and elves of light alike even when there were no more pure humans left in the kingdom. Those of the royal line are called the Firsts of Light. A majority of the populace of Reknum are Elves of Light.
AMAZONIAN WARRIORS
Much like the Elves of Light, the Warriors Race were once human in basic form. A group of outcasts, tired of the city and its ruler of Elves, they left the green lands and headed east to the unknown desert. The humans that crossed the threshold of sands were changed by their environment. Emboldened by the harsh conditions and somehow credditing their strength to the climate, they grew beyond human, amassing immense strength and absorbing the power of the sun itself. The technology found and harvested there would too lead the people not only to be strong but analytical as well. To find the greatest warriors and engineers in all of Reknum one would need to travel to the Amazonia Desert to find them. They have resolve and customs as strong as their bodies, be careful when cracking jokes around them they are not known for their laughter.
ARGOS
Granted the power to breath underwater, the Argos are the Goddess given cousins of the Elves of Light. With ears long and flat, fin-like with 3 or 4 tips to them, and skin ranging from blue to purple, and everywhere in between the Argos were once human too. An Ocean Goddess, fond of her crystals and the ocean, took a small divide of humans and gifted them her powers of an aquatic lifestyle. Fond of spears and nets, do not underestimate the Argos to be mere fisherman. Be cautious if you are ever caught on land or sea in their domain.
