Rumor: Judgment TV Show in the works starring Takuya Kimura

According to Japanese website Nikkan Gendai, who has pushed the rumor that Japanese Network TV Asahi is in talks with Takuya Kimura to star as his video game character Takayuki Yagami for a real life Judgment TV series.
The Japanese network had tried to get Takuya Kimura back for another season of the popular BG: Personal Bodyguard but refused, saying he wanted to do something new.

Yakuza and Judgment series localization producer Scott Strichart steps down

Known as the unofficial “head of localization”, Strichart was put in charge of Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, Yakuza Kiwami 2, Yakuza 6, Yakuza 7: Like A Dragon, Judgment, and Lost Judgment and his team crafted beautiful storytelling without losing the charm and message of each game.
While he has stepped down, Strichart reassured that he has not left SEGA.

Toshihiro Nagoshi’s New Studio To Be Named ‘Nagoshi Studio’ Leaks European IP Office

Looking at the trademarked logo, it seems like most likely, the new studio will be barring Toshihiro Nagoshi’s family name.
Nagoshi Studio makes sense and the logo having a film strip as part of its design makes sense considering RGG Studios’ games have always been highly cinematic.

NetEase Officially Established Nagoshi Studio with Toshihiro Nagoshi as President and CEO

At its founding, Nagoshi Studio totals nine members from various backgrounds. Aside from Nagoshi and Sato, Judgment series producer Kazuki Hosokawa is part of the team, as well as Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania producer Masao Shirosaki.
With this new endeavor, Nagoshi hopes to make “dramatic games” that will entertain people across the world.

Lost Judgment The Kaito Files DLC Arrives on March 28, 2022

Kaito will play differently than Yagami both when fighting and investigating. His two combat styles will be Bruiser and Tank. He’ll also use Primal Focus to rely on his gut and observation techniques to discover clues.
As for his mystery, he’ll be solving a case connected to his lover with a young man who is supposedly his son with her. It is expected to be about ten hours long.

Toshihiro Nagoshi’s latest studio has seemingly already changed its logo

The studio has filed the logo with the European Union Intellectual Property Office, where it is registered for computer games software, advertising, entertainment services and development of video and computer games.
It’s currently unclear if or when the studio plans to transition to the new logo, or if it will use it in conjunction with its existing logo.
