Title: Any chance we will see Sakura Wars in the west?
Post by: Artwark on December 27, 2015, 06:01:41 am
I know that there's only one game localized in the west (which SEGA didn't make a good effort one bit.) But I'd like to try out Sakura Wars as I'm a fan of TRPG games.

I could use emulators but I don't want to because there's a good chance that I'd be guilty that I'm playing a great game out of it.

Also, is it true that there hasn't been a fan translation for these games as of now?

Check out Sakura Wars: So Long My Love released by NIS America for PS2. Wii has it too, but only PS2 has the Japanese language.

TC already mentioned Sakura Wars V.

I hope to see the PC versions localized, it's perhaps the best place to put it without spending a lot of money to port them.  Falcom games are still being localized and they are more than a decade old.

Otherwise we will have to wait for them to be ported again, and for Sony to not block any other publisher who would like to translate them.
