Info and trailer here: SEGA and Sony co-publishing... I'll buy it just for support. Don't even have a PS3/4...

"Mr Nagoshi, I have bad news. We fell short of our Quota for Yakuza 6 Development by one retail sale. I'm very sorry... WAIT A MINUTE!"

Also I'm pretty sure it's digital only, so not sure how you'll buy it without a console.

As if I was going to put away my PS3 anytime soon.

See y'all in the Summer. This is probably one of the best possible outcomes from #buildingthelist as far as my personal preferences, if not the best.

Great news! It does seem to be digital only, I guess not everyone will be happy about that, but I'm not complaining. The fact that the game is being localized at all is something that I wasn't expecting.

Great news! I haven't played much of the series, but the Japanese trailers for this game made it look ace! Much want.

Digital Only? Better than nothing, not sure if I'll get it with such a small HDD on my PS3.

All right! This is the best news I've heard in a while. Digital-only isn't my favorite scenario, but I'll take what I can get.

Regarding the trailer - I'm glad to see they featured some dialog with subtitles. With the Western Yakuza 4 trailers, it almost seemed like they were trying to hide the fact that the game is subtitled. This is the proper way to go - just do the trailer like a foreign film. At this point there's plenty of gamers who can appreciate a subtitled game rather than a badly dubbed one.

So a NeoGAF member posted this from the PR contact list from Sony's press site:

Note the "Yakuza franchise (Y5 and Y0)".
