Do your kids actually know and play your old games?

Ayano Koshiro: We bought them a Mega Drive Mini a few years ago and they didn't want to play Streets of Rage 2.
They played Puyo Puyo.
They don't even read my husband's manga!
Hitoshi Ariga: I wonder why they're not interested in the stuff we do. But that's okay. (laughs)

"They Just Didn't Offer Us The Project" - Why Streets Of Rage 3 Is The Black Sheep Of The Family

Amazingly, despite the critical and commercial success of SOR2, only one Koshiro was invited back to work on the third outing – and that was Yuzo on musical duties alongside Motohiro Kawashima), not Ayano.
She said: "I don't really know. It was Sega's decision. I think they just wanted to produce the game internally instead of outsourcing it, like the second part. Unfortunately, we were not involved in that decision. They just didn't offer us the project."

"We had a license with Arnold Schwarzenegger to do his next few movies I believe.
So the next movie after that, he decides to do True Lies, which isn’t Arnold Schwarzenegger the superhero.
It was with, I believe, Jamie Lee Curtis and him.
We saw a special showing and we all walked out like, ‘Where’s the game?’
There wasn’t much to go with for a game, so we had to make something up."

PlayStation 5 Lead Architect Mark Cerny Talks Sega, Michael Jackson And Yuji Naka

"I'd gone and seen Captain EO, which was a short 3D movie starring Michael Jackson.
It was showing at Disneyland in Tokyo, which had just opened, and I thought it was quite inspirational.
So I lobbied management to create 3D glasses for the Master System.
I did the tech demo, which was sort of the Pong-style game we showed at CES, and then I did the bundled title, which was Missile Defense 3-D."
