Title: Yakuza - where to start

Hello. After seeing plenty of memes and praises for the Yakuza series, I've decided to start my adventure in this series. After seeing so many releases, I'm pretty confused where should I begin.


There are two ways to start- with Yakuza 0 or Yakuza Kiwami. Which one would be better to start and move on to the next ones? Is there a difference in combat or learning to master everything in the game?

Start with this order :

Y0 - Kiwami - Kiwami 2 - Y3 - Y4 - Y5 - Y6 - Yakuza Like: A Dragon

Y0 is just a prequel to Yakuza franchise (but it's so damn good) so actually you can also started playing from Kiwami  first.

The only one that has different gameplay is Yakuza Like: A Dragon.
You can even started playing that without playing 0-6 since it featured new characters.

I was just about to post almost exactly what Berto posted right before he/she posted that. I agree entirely. Not only is Yakuza 0 a prequel, but it's also the best game in the entire series. Start with that one for sure.
