San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Though I have been in Florida for the better part of 18-19 years now.

Is San Juan a good travel destination? I Thought about taking a vacation there.

It is a rather beautiful area, especially Old San Juan. I visit it at least once every time I go. As long as you use common sense while traveling and are aware of the fact that Puerto Rico isn't the US in many ways(financially, infrastructure ect..) you should be fine.

Hawaii. Small and lots of water, things are pretty expensive compared to continental US but it's nice.

I've always wanted to go to Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Something about being on an island freaks me out though.. Strange.

Do it. =D

but realize that if you're used to live in a major metropolitan area or a place that is otherwise incredibly busy, you could get bored of doing touristy stuff all of the time and might have to look for more out of the way activities. It's really not for everyone but one can make it work.

I think i will sometime. Hopefully within the next couple of years i'll be able to fly my wife, kid, and myself to Hawaii.

Is it pretty pricey out there?
