3D Sonic The Hedgehog 2
(3DS)

Sonic and Tails are back.... in 3D!!! Aside from the new stereoscopic 3D, 3D Sonic The Hedgehog 2 packs in Ring Keeper Mode, Save states, Stage Select, and Super Sonic Mode (unlocked after players finish the game once), allowing players to take a more relaxed and enjoying approach the original game.

As a side note : Unlike 3D Streets of Rage II, I can't believe nobody gave 10 for this game. This is M2's hardest achievement, the 3D implementation is the most difficult to handle, but still many of SEGA fans doing are just b*tching about how this game isn't as complete as Taxman/Stealth's edition. "No Knuckles no buy" they said. "No Hidden Palace Zone no buy" they said. Many of them don't have 3DS of course, they are just b*tching for the sake of b*tching.

Yumeiro Cast
(iOS, Android)

Who would’ve thought that a rhythm game about musicals would be this good. Then again, its coming from a long established company, Sega, that also gave us the Project Diva series, so what else would you expect.

As a rhythm game produced by Sega, it is surprisingly NOT about Idols (who would’ve thunk it). You play as an aspiring screenplay writer who is suddenly recruited off the streets by two cast members, Kyouya Asahina (CV: Ryouta Oosaka) & Sousei Tachibana (CV: Toshiyuki Toyonaga) from the Yumeiro Company, a musical company, to work as their screenplay writer. In order to achieve your dream you decide to join the company and start a new life with 7 of the best cast members of Yumeiro Company.

Yumeiro Cast’s rhythm system is pretty solid and easy to handle, by easy I mean for a regular rhythm game player it’ll be a breeze to get used to and is not really challenging. One thing that I’m glad the put in is an expert mode for the daily songs, which can be quite challenging but feels good when you’re on a roll because each marker is basically every beat of the song. I can see how newly initiated players may have a hard time with the expert mode without practicing with the other modes later.

Simple Strategies. Epic Possibilities.

Engage in an immersive match-3 RPG experience using deep strategy against cunning enemies. Recruit, train, and assemble a team of legendary heroes to dominate the realm with team-based combat. Journey alone or travel with guildmates in a dynamic world where every day provides a new epic adventure.

On a side note : Why didn't they (SEGA & Demiurge) make it SEGA All Star Puzzle Quest instead.
Such a waste opportunity.

YAKUZA 5
(PS3)

SEGA’s Yakuza series has been well known for its side-activities and play spots sprinkled throughout the game.  But no game takes it further than Yakuza 5!

The game has activities like rhythm dancing, hunting bears, drinking, gambling, trying to get SEGA swag from a UFO catcher, playing Taiko Drum Master in arcades, and even driving taxis! So much to do, so little time.
