And now the latest news...
The biggest CA SEGA JOYPOLIS was built in GuanZhou,China
In 2017, China Animations has acquired a majority stake in Sega Live Creation for 600 million yen.
After the ownership transitioned, China Animations renamed Sega Live Creation to CA Sega Joypolis Ltd, with Sega no-longer fully owning the parks.
The 3 Orbi venues remained under the ownership of Sega, and Sega Republic was later closed down after the Sega license expired.
Now four years later, the biggest CA SEGA JOYPOLIS has been opened in September 2021 !!!

so I think SEGA is still owning it, but just a small portion of ownership of course since majority ownership goes to China Animation.

A potential location for the UK park is currently being sourced, operator reveals.

About GENDA (Global Entertainment Network for Dreams and Aspirations) and SEGA
GENDA Co. is a Japanese entertainment corporation whose primary focus is on developing an “amusement” machine rental business, online crane machines, promotional sales, and business between the Chinese and United States markets.
GENDA held 85.1% of Sega Entertainment shares as of December 3, 2020, which means the voting rights for Sega Group‘s ownership ratio over Sega Entertainment now are 14.9%.
Additionally, Sega Entertainment was no longer be part of Sega Group’s consolidated subsidiaries.
In January 2022, GENDA was buying the last remaining 14.9% of shares owned by SEGA.
It does not mean SEGA is leaving the arcade business.
SEGA will continue to develop and manufacture arcade games, as that division is still 100% owned by the SEGA Corporation and is separate from SEGA Entertainment.
SEGA will continue to make arcade games, this news just means they won’t be managing the arcade buildings.
SEGA has also said, via Famitsu, that SEGA will continue to develop arcade titles, but will shift some of its arcade development staff to the console business.
