Saving Sacred Pools: Sega’s Million Dollar Adult Game

In 1996, Sega announced The Sacred Pools, an adults-only FMV game for the Saturn, PC, and, bizarrely enough, Sony PlayStation.
With a budget of roughly three million dollars, the game was fully filmed but never saw the light of day.

Until now.

SEGA is actually considering a Saturn or Dreamcast Mini – at least enough to ask fans about it

Quote
Unfortunately the third option in the questionnaire was a Mega Drive Mini 3, which is probably the most likely choice.
Still Sega’s Mini boss Yosuke Okunari (as in he’s in charge of their mini-consoles, not that he’s unusually short) previously said that his preference for the next machine would be either a SG-1000 Mini or a Dreamcast Mini.

So I decided to try and finish Phantasmagoria in one sitting.
I almost locked blocked myself with the door puzzle but I had a backup save.
But for some reason I couldn't pick up the needed shard and now my Chapter 7 save is broken.
Fat lot of use that was.

I couldn't enjoy the game last time I played it though I kinda like it years ago (but never got a time to finish it).
I guess my preference / taste of gaming has changing over time.

I got the game on steam for Christmas so I wanted to play the most of it.

I only found one soft-lock moment. If you make the key drop from the door too soon then you'll remain locked out.. I think, I simply reset the game and did it right.

But now I'm on the last chapter and before entering the the dark room I saved just before entering and it began the climactic battle. I tried resetting but it either I insist to continue from the climax or, when I did manage to load my save, it was just black.

I don't think I can help you with that. Going to its Steam page discussion forum might be better place to ask.
Then again I remember your Steam forum discussion asking about Flashback sequel.
Have the developer answer it?
