So Nagoshi has turned up on this Atlus presentation for  SMTIV:Final... And... He sit's there for the entire 16 mins and says literally nothing.... Just wobbles about and pulls some faces.

Now go to 11:20 on the vid and tell me that isn't the face of a man who's just smashed a few grams.

When you get into the tanning game... I mean really deep... any time you're not in the sun or in the tanning bed, you can feel your tan fading away in micro-increments. You become attuned to your tan on a molecular level. It's an unbelievable feeling. I think that's what Nagoshi is experiencing in that video.

I think you've nailed it. All he can think about is his next top up and where it's coming from. You can even see that twitchy withdrawal.

If true, that's actually quite bad too mind. I mean, they can be dangerous.

A few grams?

This man has been baking cakes ever since Yakuza made it big. When you lose half your weight, get a Jersey Shore tan, work your game's press release event while sitting in a golden pimp chair, surrounded by porn stars, you know you're living it large.

The guy behind daytona, super monkey ball, f zer gx and yakuza is pretty much a legend in my book. But what is he up to nowadays? I know he got promoted to a higher position or something, but is he contributing anything good nowadays? Just kind of curious because this thread and the video makes me slightly worried lol.

From what I understand is he has been the head of SEGA's software division for a while now and oversees everything. I imagine that includes Atlus stuff too now, which is why he was sitting in on this presentation?

Seriously, his mannerisms are unusual, but in my experience it's pretty common for creative and nerdy/geeky people (of whom I consider myself one) to have atypical facial expressions, gestures, etc. Wouldn't be surprised if Nagoshi is on the autistic spectrum, as well.

Not even surprised if he does do drugs. I would assume a few of the bigger producers at SEGA probably used some sort of drugs during their career. Mizuguchi and MDMA? Rez?
