Project Century revealed as new title from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JanPitSWd94

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has another game up their sleeve at The Game Awards, and unlike Virtua Fighter it appears to be a brand new original title.
Project Century, which is more than likely a placeholder, takes place in 1915 Japan.
Though based on the clothing, architecture and presence of some supernatural elements it’s not the one from our own history. The game features the studio’s trademark over the top combat, though this time it is a lot more bloody than most titles from ...

Hm... you know what little thing bothers me to this day? (Other than the fact Japan can come up with the best mascots than America, looking at you Pepsiman!)

Segata Sanshiro had twenty-two commercials during the run of Sega Saturn. This is because his commercials were promoting various games over telling a story, but he became iconic amongast the Japanese Saturn fans.

For Sega's 60th anniversary... Sega Shiro was introduced, a character played by Maito Fujioka, the son of Hiroshi Fujioka who played Segata Sanshiro.
What bothers me is he only had three commercials and that's that.

What bothers me is they looked like they were setting something up for Sega Shiro, I imagined him promoting various Sega games for Japanese consumers in the future... but they never did anything with him after those three commercials.

So, what was the point? Other than to promote the 60th anniversary, but why end episode three as if his journey is just beginning?

Meanwhile, in these Nissin Yakisoba UFO commercials, this mysterious cyborg character called "Legend" seem to harbour a familiar spirit... not that it matters given there was no more commercials with him straight-after.

I know all this is over four years old and no point being hung up on it, it's just I wish Sega made up their mind about it. Or the very least not had bothered with Sega Shiro to begin with. Because Segata Sanshiro left a legacy behind and they mad eSega Shiro to continue that legacy and then... they didn't?
I understand Segata Sanshiro was for marketing, but either establish a commercial-lore here like what those Nissin Yakisoba UFO commercials did or just leave it be.
