That's just how DC superheroes stories went.
In Marvel there are many more ... Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, and Sentry.
And they're not magic users.
Tony Stark even said that magic is just science that couldn't be explained YET. One he could figured it out, he could always beat magic.
In the future stories, after he figures almost all of magic in science term he'll even be the Sorcerer Supreme relacing Dr. Strange.

I didn't know how overpowered Tony Stark could be.

I didn't know how overpowered Tony Stark could be.

At one point he also made a godbuster suit, defeated a god, and became a god, lol.

Too bad this arc is one of the worsts of his comic run.
After he became a god, he made everyone in one city became as smart as him.

See, how can a god became so naive.
Because not everyone will use their newfound intellect to make the world a better place as he hopes.
Worst story ever.

He got that kiss!

Yep, his very first kiss and it made his face all bright red.

Sonic the Hedgehog Comic Is About to Kill Off a Fan-Favorite Character: "Only One Will Walk Away"

Quote
Whisper and Mimic's deadly showdown comes as part of the larger "Scattered Pieces" story arc, which kicks off with Sonic the Hedgehog #76 and concludes in Sonic #80. IDW's solicitations for the issues are sparse on details, in order to maintain the surprises the arc has in store, but fans now know that one of these two characters will not make it out of the penultimate issue alive. The teaser for ...

I wish I can see the reaction in the anime.

Well, he could beat Thor before with his Thorbuster suit.
Thor is also a god, right?
God of thunder.

I wish I can see the reaction in the anime.

Me too.

God of thunder.

I don't really know anymore. Because Thor is capable of being wounded and Asgardians can die, does that mean they're not truly gods and just aliens with divine powers?

The difference is when gods die they can ressurect again later.
For example, Jesus ressurected after three days so he could be considered as god.
Not all asgardians are gods but Thor and Loki are gods.
God of thunder and god of stories.
Thor has been dead many times but he always comes back because he is destined to finally die only after he succeeds his father Odin and becomes All-Father of Asgard.
But ironically nobody could kill Thor after that and Thor then rules the Nine Realms for countless centuries until the literal end of time, where there is no life left in the universe except for himself (and somehow with Wolverine).

Still all of this also means nothing in comic books since almost all comic characters (that is not Uncle Ben) have died at some point and be brought alive again later.

So he's the last one to lock the door on the way out. What about the other gods?

Yeah, death is mostly inconsequencal when writers want some reason to bring back a character.
