Hey Guys, I'm a big Sega games fun, but I have a bit random question for you all. Which browser do you use and reccomend?
-
There's quite literally tons of them, but from the main ones:
Chrome = great for security, bad for privacy
Firefox = great for privacy, a bit slow and security isn't quite up there yet
Opera = surprisingly good, but ignored
Edge = There's nothing wrong with this really. It's decent for security and privacy.
Needless to say, if privacy is a big thing for you don't use google or their search engine.

Thanks a lot for the answer ;-D
For me I'm not too concerned about the privacy part, so for now I am using Chrome. However in terms of the extensions and compatibility, I was reading this article (https://www.1and1.com/digitalguide/hosting/technical-matters/the-best-browsers-for-windows-and-mac/) which says that firefox has a lot of extensions. I would like something that is flexible and also quite compatible across all the operating systems. Does anybody have experience comparing firefox to chrome in this regard?
-
I use Firefox from time to time, but I never use extensions really. Just a reminder, but regardless of browser be careful what extensions you use. In order for some of them to work, they can create security risks.

Yea I agree with the security risk factor, I will definitely be very careful with that. I will download avast I think

How's vivaldi?
-
It's still early for Vivaldi, but the former Opera employers are doing a good job so far. It's more then capable already and as the company doesn't have shareholders etc, they don't have to have outside interference.
