Unexpected surprise!

Hopefully, the series will find a permanent place in the west now.

Now if only the new Border Break can get a western confirmation.

Border Break and Virtual-On!

Virtual-on being Virtual-on, We can probably play the import version fine if the gameplay is all we care about. Border Break... not so sure it would be as easy.

But for sure, SEGA Please Localize Everything. Especially since this version of VO is probably going to be the most story heavy.

YAY I was hoping Shining came back to the West. Resonance looked really good on PS3 and disappointed it wasn't localized the first time around because we had no shot at the PSP games.

In an ironic way I never played Virtual On very much but I"m excited to play it because this entry is a crossover to Magical Index which I like and other Sega fans seem either confused or don't care about.

I really hope Virtual On makes it way over here. I've always wanted to buy the X360 game, but it's pretty pricey.

Anyways, nice to see you here Kuro!

I'd like to give the new-age Shining series a shot, and see it has more than just waifu characters to offer.

So I got myself an Asia English Switch version of the game
since U.S. version took long enough of time to get here and I can't wait to play the game.

Pro :
- It has beautiful Kirika artwork as inner cover.
- $10 Cheaper.

Con :
- No Japan voice DLC pack available (unlike its US/EU version)
- No slip metal case.

I hate it.  Not trolling.  I can't stand it.  SRR makes me sick to my stomach.

Taste differs.
I guess this game is not for you (and most of western gamers).
It's more for Asian market.
While in western SEGA games that most people love are Sonic, Company of Heroes, and Total War,  (http://segabits.com/blog/2018/07/06/valve-leaks-player-counts-for-steam-games-how-are-sega-games-doing/)
here : Yakuza, MaiMai, and Hatsune Miku Project Diva were more popular.

I guess I will "Re:Frain" from purchasing this game.
Look I like me some anime style rpgs, but to me, this ain't one of them.
Persona 5, even with it's date sim elements tossed in, was still an awesome experience.
And that game had some serious style.  As for other Japanese games that look unappealing to me...
Not crazy about the new look of Sakura Wars either, but that's the OLDTAKU in me.

It's just like all anime is just meshing into one style.  I'm a shonen fan myself and I see all kinds of art styles in the manga I read.  Maybe Sega would make better sales though if they did some cool stuff?  I hear Japanese sales aren't so hot right now.  Isn't that why they're going back to older franchises for sequels and remakes?

I'm sorry, but games like SRR and PSO 2 are embarassing for longtime fans, west or east.
