Whats wrong with you people. Mayo is delicious.
If I had to eat ANY food every day of my life I would be bored out of my mind.

Mayo is overrated.

I like ketchup. Is that related?

Maybe it's a British thing but Mayonnaise is used in most Sandwiches made that are sold in shops here.

Did you know that in the US 70% of cheese sold is processed?
That stuff doesn't taste right at all, the only place is on a dirty fast food hamburger.

Anyway, the BBQ went really well.
I made a teriyaki glaze for salmon out of dark soy, garlic, maple syrup and fresh lime with zest, cooked it in foil for 25 minutes until it was flaky.

That and fennel, cumin, salt and pepper ribs went down well and suited the coconut sweet potato mash I made too.

As I had craved a burger for many years I made a great one, 250g mince, onion, paprika, fresh coriander (cilantro) dijon mustard, egg yolk and salt and pepper mixed and BBq'd to perfection.
Served in a toasted sour dough bun with horseradish and black pepper mayo, rocket fresh tomato and melted english chedder.

As you may be able to tell I am hungry right now and I also like cooking way too much.

Maple Syrup with Fish?

You just blew my fucking mind.

Also, glad to hear it all went well. I suggest some lamb when you're up to it!

If you changed your eating habit from vegetarian to something, I bet you should have considered many things. One of these is to think what would be the effect of this to your health and body. Will it give you enough energy to go for a day of physical activities?

Eating meat is great!
Sure I feel bad about it. But when I have the munchies I enjoy the saucy textures of good old cow.

If you are not longer for vegetarian, I think that you commit some changes for your lifestyle. However, if we see those improvements, you might be needed to continue that changes. Or else, may you be able to back with the combination from the vegan foods.

I'm not sure what you're saying here, what is wrong with my lifestyle?
I play golf, socialise and work full time. I also feel healthy, am at my ideal weight and have no ailments and walk 5 miles per day.

I do not know you so I assume it's just a poorly constructed sentence.

Anyway, for what it's worth I still mainly am vegetarian; I will maybe eat fish once or twice a month- and perhaps any other kind of meat once a month. I only buy free range or organic and like to buy from local suppliers.

It does make life easier for social occasions, and Christmas this year will be simpler, I will probably still make a cheese and parsnip roulade ( http://www.deliaonline.com/recipes/type ... ffing.html) but will also have a belly of pork prepared too ( http://www.deliaonline.com/recipes/gall ... cider.html).
Oh and I am planning on making my own pork pie and piccalilly.

I wouldn't take JayC too seriously Monkeroony. Based on his post count, history of bizarrely worded sentences and sig link to a search engine optimization site, I have an inkling that he may have been a spambot. Since that's not confirmed, we have yet to take any action. If JayC would like to prove his realness, I will humbly apologize for thinking he is a robot.

Oh my gawd, I wish I could visit your place for Christmas. xDD Sounds like you host some rather nice social gatherings!

Thanks for the recipe links, though. I suppose I could still cook this stuff for myself and my roommate. ^_^ Just too bad that I don't have more people to share it with...
