I find it curious that they chose to go for this Planet of the Apes prequel. I would highly recommend watching the original Charlton Heston version which includes the mother of all twist endings (the script was penned by famed Twilight Zone creator, Rod Sterling).
If you're a Twilight Zone and Planet of the Apes fan, check out the fan edit (if you haven't already) that turns the film into a 25 minute Twilight Zone episode:

Trying to find a working link of the Amazing Spider-Man trailer at the moment. Not to post here, it would be down before anyone saw it. Just want to see it myself.
Personally I am VERY uninterested in the reboot. It has only been ten years and we're already getting a reboot retelling?? Why? What the fuck? Worse still, yet another variation on Uncle Ben's death. Another variation on how Peter Parker is bitten. Lizard is the villain (finally) and yet it is in a reboot that we get to see it. Not in the fourth film of a series that was actually building up Dr. Connors transformation. There is just so much of the reboot that either is old-hat or elements stupidly changed up for the sake of being different from the last one.
I think Raimi totally had a great fourth film in him. I would have loved to see Connors (of Raimi canon) become the lizard, and it becomes a race between Spider-Man and Kraven the Hunter to either save or kill him. Think The Most Dangerous Game set in New York. Bonus: no secondary characters bogging things down. Harry is at peace, MJ can be off at home chilling out, maybe planning for their wedding.
Instead, it's a reboot-a-rama!
