So, who's excited with House of the Dead 4 on the PS3.

God, I nearly choked to death when I read about it!

Very cool to see it getting a release, even if I don't own the console. I'll play it eventually. Brings me hope that we'll see more arcade titles! How about a Kinect/Move enabled Ollie King?

Didn't Ollie King use a skateboard? Activision tried something like that with Tony Hawk and failed comically lol

I have one concern with HotD4 though:
You know how you point out of the screen to reload, but actually you just fool the sensor by tapping it with your fingers?
How do you do that with a move controller? lol I'm ruined.

Ollie King did use a skateboard, but the movements were basic, and could easily be replicated by Kinect. I remember just leaning forward, back and left and right. Momentum was automatic, as the game operated on a downhill track. So no silly Tony Hawk ride stuff.

A skateboard itself probably wouldn't be needed, just stand sideways and lean to the funky beats.

I'm totally cool with HotD4 being on PS3 only, but I am peeved that a lightgun has yet to release for 360. Yeah, theres the hunting game one, but they could easily use Kinect + a gun. All the tech is there, they just aren't making it happen.

I'm so excited they're finally releasing this  ;D.

The HotD4 machine at my local theater's been busted for years, so I really can't wait to download this one.

Right now to play House of the Dead 4 I have to travel about 35km. And it costs nearly what you'd call "dollar fitty" per game.

Worth it though. Can't wait to play it at home.

Still not sure if I want a move, if they announce all the Virtua Cops though... I'll finally break down and get a Move!

If there is one thing I like about motion controls (And I do dislike motion controls, I should stress) its that they have brought life back to rail shooters.

Right now for me to go play Afterburner Climax, Outrun 2, The House of the Dead 4, Let's Go Jungle, Rambo, Ghost Squad and Harley Davidson. I only have to travel 3 miles. Jealous bro?!?

Agreed. I've got 6 light gun shooters on the Wii alone. It's nice to see them finally starting to release HD ones on the PS3.

I wonder Sega is going to do a developer diary for both games. And I am a little too happy that 4 is coming out to PSN, for that I have to upload more rare HotD stuff to you guys. I have the Japanese Sega Saturn guide that has never before seen pictures and interviews of the first game. Just need help with the translations.

London is a really big place man, very big, you would have to tell me what area you be touching down. North? South? West? East? Even central?

Obviously central London has the most places to go, but best you tell me where you would be arriving!

I guess this means OVERKILL did well on the PS3 for them to take this step. Wonder if Special will make it..

OLLIE KING will never be ported due to copyright legal issues.

I think I'll be staying in Enfield, that's North right? But I can get around by bus, or by car.
