I don't care too much about first-party from either Sony or Microsoft.

I like that Knack game and also Naughty Dog, but that's about it. I hope for games like Knack. Microsoft has nothing going for them, except me maybe be stupid naive, and believing Rare might be making a game...

I'll wait for TGS.

I'm not gonna lie, I like Halo games, but even that's not enough to help MS succeed Next Gen. A key reason why MS did so well this gen was cause they launched the X360 a year ahead of the competition. Even by the end of this gen, the PS3 had already caught up in worldwide sales. I am a fan of Xbox gaming, but I'm definitely gonna be cautious with them, as their recent approach to gaming has been quite bad. I'd just like to see some new IP's. If MS releases the Next Xbox with a decent price tag, ill probably buy it cause I prefer their online connectivity and I do enjoy playing Halo and Fable games.

NOTHING frustrates me more than people that can't 'feel' this is a new generation, stating that 'there are no new innovative games' when THAT HAPPENS EVERY FUCKING GEN. I feel like most journalist have terrible memory. SERIOUSLY? HEAVENLY SWORD IS "NEW AND INNOVATIVE" FOR PS3? That game was mocked so bad for being 'God of War with a woman' when showed.

I remember so many friends saying 360 looked terrible because the Rare games looked like something that would be on N64. I don't think people get that consoles always have these issues when they are released and get better 1-2 years into it when everyone is settled it.

Microsoft have been completely retarded ever since the creators of the original Xbox project abandoned ship.

Am I crazy or does everyone want some innovative way to play games? Am I the only one that just wants a good controller, super nice looking games that are fun to play with awesome online features?

Like, I hate the whole "OMG MOTION CONTROLS ARE INNOAVITATVIE" ... :(

FYI: Pachter has a new video talking about what he thinks PS4 will be, with some facts.

- Jack Tretton told Pach they definitely will not charge $599 again.
- Thinks the PS4 will launch at $399.
- Strongly thinks Kinect 2.0 will be bundled with 720 and make it more expensive than PS4
- Thinks everything on PSN will be behind a paywall, except multiplayer
- Feels certain The Last of Us will have a PS4 version
- Talked to Sony about Agent, Sony's words: "It's still under development".
- Nintendo's not going anywhere. Can go 20-30 years losing money like they are now before being in trouble.

I don't mind Sony making people pay to use the share/streaming game features just cuz it takes server power. As long as its part of PSplus.

Yeah i'm on the same boat as you dude. Never cared for motion gaming one bit, i've always wanted a decent machine with great games, and great online features. The thing is, most people don't think a console with great graphics is enough anymore because phones/tablets are taking the market and they feel the need to differentiate themselves from PC's as well. The biggest reason why I never finished Skyward Sword was because it was strictly motion based, had it been released with a classic controller feature, i would've loved it. I prefer gaming without the gimmicks and to me Wiimote/Gamepad/Kinect/Eyetoy/Move are all gimmicks.

I don't mind the gimmicks personally, but I do like some old fashioned gaming at the end of the day.

I apologise if my post came across like "I will only play innovative games and never sequels". It was not my intention if your post was about my post.  :D

I love most franchises that I have played and would gladly play sequels to them! I just like playing new IPs these days just to see what makes them different from the rest of that particular genre.

I am interested in what the PS4 can do, but unfortunately, Sony's output from what I have seen doesn't interest me at the moment. I love the Uncharted franchise and Motorstorm, but I think even if Sony announced those games on the system, I wouldn't be as excited for them due to being franchises I have played previously (I have Uncharted 2, 3 and GA...I had 1 but I sold it), something different is certainly welcome like that Knack game, but I haven't been a fan of Sony's platformers since the PS1 days.

Big fan of Claymore, Miria in particular.

Currently playing Yakuza 0.

Motion gaming has never dominated my overall gaming experience, though there has been a handful of Kinect titles that I've really enjoyed and have warranted the purchase. PS Move I could see being great for the HotD lightgun games, though I haven't seen as many Move titles that look like must own games. I will say that Kinect's voice/motion controls are my go-to method of menu navigation. MS execs would love to have me on stage for the lifestyle demos. :P

Not entirely sure that Kinect 2 will push the next Xbox price up, is it known if the new PS Eye will come with every console?

My issue is that Sony has a camera that is basically Kinect, so far, as I know, its not 'in the box' when you purchase it. I assume that Microsoft will have Kinect 2's in the box ... they pushed it hard enough.

My issue with this is, all this does is drive the price up for someone like me that doesn't want it. I hope there are SKU's without Kinect or Playstation Eye 4.

I rather Sony work on getting PSN games working on PS4 instead of a camera add-on. I like the idea of having the camera for game presentations though, but I rather purchase it myself if wanted.
