I saw the movie "Go!", pretty good flick. It was on IFC the other night.

"Go! tells the story of the events after a drug deal, told from three different points of view."

I guess it was pretty popular in 99, I never saw it.

I saw it not too long ago too.  I think it was someone's answer to Pulp Fiction, but still not a bad movie.

I mainly wanted to see it because it had Sarah Polley in it.  Road to Avonlea was pretty big while I was growing up, and I was just happy to see her in a mainstream movie.

It's kinda crazy to look at that trailer now and see all the people that would go onto bigger things.

I saw The Machinist and Shutter Island last night. What got into me to watch two mindfucks in a row? Both were very good although Shutter Island was a bit too long for my taste and its own sake.

Right?

I posted on twitter about how awesome it was. Can't wait for part 2.

I saw Karate Kid. FUCK. Don't watch it. First of all, they added all this 'jump super high and do extreme kicks that impossible' to it and changed the story (like expected). Eh. The characters seem shallow (even compared to the first one!).

First of all the mom is horrible.
1. Takes her Son, after his Dad dies to China? Really? So to treat the fact that his dad is dead, she will take everything else close to him? Fucking great <3.
2. He gets his ass kicked in school and even though she knows, she ignores it.
3. She let the 'handy man' take him to his apartment so he can strut around with no shirt on while he teaches him 'Kung Fu'. Really?

Also the 'bad guys' have no reason to hate him. For no apparent reason they just want to beat his face in. Race? Not brought up (that I heard). They just thought it was funny to beat him senseless every chance they got.

Eh. I give it a F.

Just watched Knight and Day.

Very fun movie. Tom Cruise playing to all of his strengths in a movie that doesn't take itself too seriously, and yet still has some very impressive action sequences.

I watched Obsessed (2009) recently. It was an interesting thriller. I enjoyed it.

I saw Edge of Darkness with Mel Gibson and Surrogates with Bruce Willis.  Both were not bad, but forgettable.

Saw Punisher War Zone. I love the brutal take on the Punisher, but the slap stick villains sort of seemed really off setting.
