Haven't seen Casablanca and not too familiar with the Marx Bros. (I know, that's a crime), but the middle three are fantastic.  Particularly Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, which will always be relevant to American politics.  Probably one of my top 10 favorite films.

If you liked Maltese Falcon, I think you'll love Casablanca. I haven't watched it in years though, I really should check it out again soon.
And if you like Jimmy Stewart:

Just saw the latest Twilight movie.

It was as predictably hilarious as the first two, but had the added bonus of a very solid vampire vs. werewolf slobberknocker.

My grandma has Jimmy's autograph, I think she had a crush on him.

Jimmy Stewart is the man.

He really was.  He was always convincing, and never had the propensity to overact that some actors of the time had.  His characters are 100% believable.

Not to mention It's A Wonderful Life, Anatomy of a Murder, Vertigo, Rear Window, and most importantly Mr. Smith Goes to Washington are among the greatest American Classics.

Never seen Shenandoah--I'll put it in my Netflix queue, soon as I get Mad Max 2.

Slobberknocker is a fight/hit that is so brutal it 'knocks the slobber' from your mouth.

I only heard it because Jim Ross uses the term a lot, it is pretty weird sounding.

Just like MadeMang said. A fight that along the lines of something that would break out in a saloon in a western movie.  Except less guns, and more heads getting punched off.

Finally, a reason for me to post this!

Recently watched Surrogates. It was.... meh. Decent concept, bad execution.

Love that movie. I'd recommend Fantastic Mr. Fox and Rushmore if you enjoyed that one.

Seen Rushmore, very good. Been thinking about Fantastic Mr Fox but I'm not a massive fan of the art style.

Yeah, I hear good things about Mr Fox, and I loved the book, but I just couldn't get into the first five minutes of the movie. I still have it and will watch it someday though.
