Yes, this one was based on that 2017 movie, the one starring Tom Cruise as the hero and Sofia Boutella as the eponymous Mummy.They add "Demastered" in the title because unlike usual new movie-based games that's made in 3D, this one took inspiration from the past and went 2D instead.The game was made by Wayworfard, who worked with SEGA before and made the amazing Aliens: Infestation and Thor for NDS (which was a lot lot better than the console version).

I still feel kinda conflicted they made the Mummy "sexy". I mean I don't mind she is female just I expect her more decomposed. It's kind of like a double-standard thing. male monsters are either grotesque or handsome while female monsters must be beautiful.Kinda like how Frankenstein was regarded as a monster while his bride was beautiful.

I regard Boris Karloff as the first Universal Movie depiction of the Mummy. While he appeared to pass off as a human in later scenes I wouldn't call him "sexy".
Besides both Boris Karloff and Arnold Vosloo's depiction of the Mummy would start off as a heavily decomposed undead before finding means to restore their bodies.

If it was a world without guys there would be more fatties. Even the decent ones may have body hair because why need to shave their armpits or legs? Sure some men choose to shave their body but I think women are more socially pressured to do that for the sake of beauty.
