Nice one! I'm glad you found something you like.

I'm still doing part time gardening as my main job... Not making a whole lot.

I'm doing a new art for someone’s 'book of rhymes' which I’m doing very slowly because I'm not very enthused about it.

Also I've finished the first draft of the children’s/young adult fiction book I want to write and now the long slow process of fixing my many spelling/grammatical errors and tarting it up. Then finally, I'll do the artwork.

^Glad to hear you are loving your job!

And speaking of which, I now have a job I really enjoy as well. For the last 6 months or so I've been on the buying team for the Video Game department of a major retailer as a Merchandise Assistant/Co-ordinator.

So yeah, while it's pretty demanding work, it's also very interesting and i'm working with a product I already have a great interest in and with some great people.

I work at a Salvation Army doing all the bull crap work. That includes moving around furniture, dealing with trash all day long, putting things into storage/taking things out of storage and a load of other crap that I don't feel like going into details about. It's actually a tough job but I've grown use to it. Also classic video games come in a lot which I can get at a very cheap price. Example stack of N64 games for a dollar, DC in the box with a stack of games for like 5 bucks.

Work at post company. Nothign special really. thousands of letters come out of lots of machines next to eacht other, dependant on the city and postal codes, and I put them in a box. When the box fills up, I put it on a wagon, replace a new box in it's place and repeat till the wagon fills too. It pays good and makes it possible for me to buy stuff :P

Oh, boy, last week we finished the biggest shipment of wine to one of our customers in Poland. About 4 pallets with 100 boxes each. And we had to make sure we'd stick the official Polish Ministry of Commerce sticker on every single bottle of every single box.

Fun fact: In the US, it doesn't matter where the imported good comes from, it must have a label in english.

And I finished my first professional web programming assignment.

The second job starts tomorrow.

Wine? Do you get free wine for working there? If so, it would be the PERFECT job.

Wine is beer's gay uncle.

Man up and grow a tree inside the building and rip the berries off of it with your teeth, do not clean off the bird shit either.

Bump, I was unemployed for the past two years but now I book keep for my Dad's Pallet Manufacturing company, it's boring as all get out. I did manage to land a IT job for a real estate office, it pays very well (in the neighborhood of $45 a hour) but it's only a few hours a month to maintain all their computers and crap since the real estate agents think it's a great idea to install random shit on the comps. Either way, easy work.

I was thinking of starting a taco stand, and I have been writing a couple books for a bit now. Doubt those will go anywhere though. Just being realistic of course, but if they do, fantastic.
