As far as AM1 is concerned it was never a studio with a very strong identity. It can be argued that Golden Axe was a cash in on Conan the Barbarian (well Uchida san has actually agreed with that statement so not much of an argument) and House of the Dead was a cash in on Resident Evil (this however is debatable).

AM#1 used to be one of the best development studios inside the SEGA group - Most Am#1 games had great tech and were brilliant games in their own right . And so what if they use films or other games for inspiration, guess you must hate the likes of Outrun, AfterBurner, Shenmue and Virtual Fighter, Virtual Cop  for AM'2

Outrun used Cannon Ball, AfterBuner used Top Gun, Shenmue is a ripp off of countless Hong Kong films , VF used Street Fighter 2 for inspiration and Virtual Cop look is straight out of reservoir dogs .

The likes of HOTD series, Get Bass 1 and II, SEGA GT 2002/Onilne, Die Hard Arcade, Golden Axe are some o of my fav SEGA games of all time
Panzer Dragoon Zwei is
One of the best 3D shooting games available
Presented for your pleasure

Blood Will Tell technically isn't strictly a WoW Entertainment game but it did
start development prior to the merger, and it was basically Am1's response to
Overworks Shinobi.
::) The game was based on an old Manga comic and it certainly wasn't a response to SHINOBI. Geez...if anything it was trying to tie in with games like Onimusha and Devil May Cry.

And HOTD was more influenced by Xfiles and zombie movies rather than Resident Evil. And really to use that as a criticism of AM1 when nearly every video games company was ripping off ideas from movies and television back then just goes to show you don't know what you're on about. RE is a rip off of  George Romero for god's sake...that's common knowledge...
And then you want people to buy your sega history book when you get such a fundemental wrong? ::)

Another new phone game by AM1. Copyright by SEGA/SEGA NETWORKS

Go Dance and the Schoolgirl singing app was most likely by the CS2 division (Project Diva, Rhythm Thief, etc.)

One of the characters reminded me of HELL YEAH! Kinda wish there were more of those...overall though this game makes me wonder what if Sega had the balls to return SHINING FORCE back to what it was meant to be and relase it on mobile...While they at it MONSTER WORLD could be updated too since this game reminds me of that too..

This hiring site from Sega is good way to keep track of Sega's activities in their divisions.

From what I see from one job ad, it seems like Wonderland Wars is by the AM1 group.

Yeah but Sega always does an annual recruit every year...it doesn't really signify what game or game is coming...

It states the game and the division at times.

Depends if its outside the main recruitment. When they do the annual recruit they hardly state the games they are working on and its really across the board in all their divisons of the company.

That's titles they made and known for...credits. Not games they want people to work on.
Those titles came out during various years between 2008 2010  2012...etc etc.

Yeah, it's not a way to know what new games they do now, but it's a good tool to gauge what divisions there are at Sega.

It seems like there is not much interrest in doing wiki contributions for games only for Japan (especially Arcade and phone games).

I thought the Segasammy page tells you what the divisions are in detail.

Not surprised..there's a lot of content missing from japan on their mobile releases since 2003 to now.A lot of games not listed..maybe someone should link to a japanese sega fan who could fill you in. Even then there are the Sega Korea games and Sega China games also to be listed. At least in the old days it was easy to get a game from japan via import but because of the digital nature its very difficult and easy to miss what's been released..
