Wow that ref...

It's a good thing we didn't get past Barca, our records with terrible refs is probably the poorest in the world, THE WORLD (I still feel pain over BABEL DIVING IN THE CL THREE YEARS AGO)

Wow, all three major portuguese teams seem to want to one up each other.

Porto scored 5 goals, Benfica did 5 too, Braga did four. Sporting f***ing tied with Leiria.

Annnd it looks like Benfica is going to have their championship party next Sunday in Oporto.

Goodbye to Belenenses and Leixões,shame, especially, since the later was founded by british gentlemen living in Matosinhos.

Oh, and Penafiel just screwed over Beira Mar this week. Cost them their title shot in the second league. Oh well...

How about Trofense's 5-2 on Santa Clara? Now that was a great game.

I find this thread's new name quite appropriate. Two games to go and we still haven't avoided relegation in yet another disastrous year.

As you can see by this chart, everything went down the hill by fixture 10.

Yesterday we were losing 2-0. We managed to draw but in the end we lost 3-2. That draw would've secured us another year in the second division if my math was correct. It'd have been important, since we are playing two of the top teams in the league (one of them still fighting for promotion) in the last two matches. It's going to be hard but there are teams in a tougher position. We shall see.

To think the president was day dreaming about promotion at the beginning of the season and now we're down to this. I hope the good old new manager sets things straight for next season.

I am making a promise now. If we are promoted next year, I am buying FIFA on day one. If we are champions I am buying FIFA on two different platforms. Buying this sort of game (cashcow, updated each year, ...) goes against my beliefs, but in all honesty I can't recall the last time I saw my team in a video game.

I'd better start putting some money aside. :afroman:

When we are promoted it will have Gil Vicente.

Hence my promise. It's like going to the Holy Land, except buying FIFA at full price is commiting the greatest sin of them all. Sacrifices are sacrifices. I'm willing to take the hit. Hah!

On one hand, Fabregas knows even Barca cant win everything, on the other hand, Barca will now want Fabregas more than ever.

I think I prefer the former.

You did good Jose.

[spoiler:1yi9fiqs]Inter to win final 2-1.[/spoiler:1yi9fiqs]

Also check my quote for Arsenal's second leg scoreline, you'll see I quite rightly said we would lose 4-1.
