Let's be honest here...as someone who posts here sometimes once said in a forum we both use to frequent....
This man is as ugly as sin....
Especially when you compare him to his exSega counterpart...
But when you look at some of the developers or even excecutives of the two companies down the years...The Sega ones look younger a bit handsome..and down with the audience IE they seem to be more into the types of things that their audience were or are into.
Nintendo has been the complete opposite of that. Either they are old and decrepid or one ugly sonnabitches and definalty suit and tie conservative and stiff. That has changed in recent years but its something that i thought was strange in the way the two tribes as it were personell has evolved.
Not saying there aren't any unattrative Sega people..but they sem to be less at least visibly when it comes to developers in the public eye.
Even the presidents who were most visible to the public back then when i was a teen said it all..
Nintendo's president was always old looking and look like he was near death likeEmeperor Palpatine..which oddly enough he acted like him as well..except no light sabers or people getting killed...that we know of...
Compared to one of the first Sega executives to come into the public eye..
Who looked younger..more approchable...and was down with the kids or so to speak. It seems that this is or was a company culture that both companies had for decades but its something that always made me wonder how it got to be like that..
