I wonder what Nintendo has for us :)
Man the chills. They could really nail it if the dream scenario happens like with sony.

Honestly it feels like sony took all dreams and just decided to make them true. Lovely at first thought, but I really hope every game ends up making the dream true.

Just checked out horizon... wow. Love the setting!

I think if I had to describe it from a console war perspective, Sony won the gamers/fanatics, while Microsoft may have gone more for the mainstream market. I wonder which of the 2 will have a bigger effect in the market space. Because the things fanatics love and are passionate about isnt always what sells. IE shenmue 3, last guardian. I wonder if final fantasy still has mainstream apeal. I mean it is a shadow of the juggernaut it once was. However Final fantasy 7 was a huge succes on the ps1.

Microsoft seemed to be going for Xbox 360 owners. Gears of War remake, Backwards compatibility, Halo 5, Forza 6, Gears of War 4 and so forth.

Yes, he did. Also I'm so happy we got the Last Guardian again and Shenmue 3. I know that animal in the game is going to die :(

Really busy today (yay moving...) so I may not be able to tune into Nintendo and Squeenix's conferences. Nintendo NX was supposedly leaked but I don't buy it. It's too early for them to be talking about their new console and exactly what it is.

Yay for XOne: Backwards compatibility, the indie games, Recore, and Rare's compilation plus new game.

Yay for PS4: The Last Guardian, Horizon, No man's Sky, Firewatch, Shenmue 3, Uncharted 4, The Witness, Abzu.

I need a second and third job. :(

I just don't understand why people are happy that they can play 100 Xbox 360 games through a emulator on their Xbox One. Why do you want a 350 dollar Xbox 360 emulator? You know what plays Xbox 360 at a fraction of $350 dollars?
It's just something that's nice to have so you don't need to have two consoles hooked up at once. Not to mention as time goes on and Xbox 360s are less common to be bought or plugged in, it's nice to have the ability to easily play the games.

It's one of things I like about PC, I can still play games from fifteen years ago with little to no hassle.

Weren't you yourself arguing to TA that this is a major plus point for PC gaming?

Nintendo's E3 was pretty bad. At least they stressed it was a transitional year.

From the sounds of it, Nintendo was super underwhelming. I missed most of it because I thought it was starting WAY later than it actually did, so I don't have a first-hand account. I guess all the REALLY big, new stuff was for the NWC and Smash Direct. The only brand new thing I heard is a Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi crossover. Star Fox looks cool at least.

Squeenix is starting right now apparently.
