I mean, I understand that games take years to make so it's only natural that some years are slow but goddamn.  At least announce some tantalizing things.  The biggest slap in the face was that Metroid "federation force" game.  Not only did it look uninspired but it heavily implied that the Prime games aren't even canon which is a bitchy thing to do.

Not even anything on Zelda Wii U.

Absolutely horrible showing from them this year, if you're finding it hard to top EA you know you've got serious problems. The Wii U's funeral is well under way ladies and gentlemen.

Wait when was it implied the Prime games aren't canon? Does that mean Other M is canon but not Prime?

Cause if that's the case fuck Nintendo for ruining one of gaming's greatest protagonist and for shitting on Metroid fans. I've patiently waited for a new Metroid game and I get an enormous slap in the face.

Hahaha, what did I miss?

Nintendo showing us what their future would be if they went third party.

Like no seriously, it was that bad. It started off brilliant with Star Fox and then crashed and burned, Animal Cross mixed in with Mario Party, shitty Metroid spinoffs whilst the main series remains absent, IT WAS A DISASTER WHEN I LOOK BACK ON IT.

When announcing the game they said "THIS game takes place in the Prime universe!" which heavily implies at least to me a separation of canon.

YOU HAD ONE JOB NINTENDO, ONE FUCKING JOB.

Why must Shenmue's return coincide with Nintendo not giving a fuck about one of my favourite series, WHY.

At least Just Cause 3 looks good. The guy presenting it looks nervous. Probably because he's gotta go up against Final Fantasy 7 remake and Kingdom Hearts 3 lmao

Metroid Prime is to Metroid what Sonic Boom is to Sonic.

Unrelated to Nintendo: First footage of Tony Hawk's 5:

Not sure what to think. I heard a rumour it started as a mobile phone game, looking at the graphics, it wouldn't surprise me.

Squeenix is so formal so far that it hurts. They're literally just...describing Just Cause 3 against gameplay. It sounds like a press release. A bad press release.
