Definitely a step over Rome 2 IMO.

Hopefully in more than simply looks though....

Griffons!!

Overall, I'm impressed with the model design. I hope that we are going to see something new in the AMD E3 conference.

I'm excited too, but it's only screenshots!

I am particularly excited to see how the giant creatures are going to play a role in the battles. I hope they don't go too far in making it 'cinematic' at the expense of gameplay.

I love the armies look so colourful and the models are quite nice.

To be fair I am biased... Total War has always been my favourite strategy series, I'm a nerd for high fantasy it's been my dream they would do a fantasy TW since literally the beginning. Plus I have some friends who really love Warhammer so by associating I've learned to love it too.

For me all it needs to be is a competently made TW game and it's a shoe-in for best strategy game ever.

CA pls.

Maybe if you still had CA Australia in operation I would feel more comfortable in you tackling multiple projects, but as it is please take it one at a time.

To be fair, the ones doing Warhammer are a totally different team to the usual historical team.

That's interesting. I feel like they've probably done this before, one team working on Fall of the Samurai while the other worked on Rome 2 vanilla etc.

Sharky, have you tried the mods for Medieval 2? I heard there's a really good Warhammer mod for that game. Might hold us over while we wait for this title :)

I have tried the mods, Warhammer and Third Age. (Lord of the Rings) both really good... But neither will hold a candle when this drops.

I can't say I share your enthusiasm after Rome 2. I have hopes for this regardless, got my fingers crossed.

I just hope there are more fantasy Total War games to follow this one!

Rome 2 came between Shogun 2:Fall of the Samurai and Attila... Both brilliant games. Rome 2 has been greatly improved with patches too... I don't know why you're so caught up on it.

Even if Warhammer needs patches (and it probably will) there is every indication that CA will come through and chizzes a brilliant game out of it.
