So I started this game yesterday, and first things first, wow it looks nice. The graphics and lighting effects are really quite pretty, and I love the 80s sci fi aesthetic.

I haven't gotten to anything spooky yet, but I'm on the space port and it's got a wonderful atmosphere so far. The controls are nice, but I feel a bit motion sick moving around, it feels a little floaty. I'm excited to see where this goes.

I'm at the flashback sequence now and let me just say that it's fucking amazing.  I wonder if this is the first thing they built because it's kind of jarringly dropped in and looks and feels like a proof of concept of sorts.

I started this last night, unfortunately was only able to play about an hour or so. Love the atmosphere and dayum those graphics, game looks incredible.

As an Aliens fan, they have certainly done the films justice so far.

I'm actually starting to mellow on the graphics a bit. I find everytihng looks very plasticy and fake. Can't quite put my finger on it.

Either way, I got super stuck on a bit last night with some human scavengers. Turns out you're supposed to go through a certain door, I back-tracked instead and then had trouble when I came back to the room because they had fanned out and were really hard to avoid. This game doesn't fuck around.

I managed to finally get through by using a flare as a distraction which was nice. I appreciate that this game isn't holding my hand too much.

I'm glad everyone is getting into this game, I got it on launch day and was amazed at how good it was. The true survival horror experience we deserved.

Unfortunately not got much time to play now that Ramadan has started but I'll be cheering you guys from the sidelines.
