Well, not Toxic just... I dunno too modern-glam for my taste or however you describe it. "Yeezy" or "Drip" or whatever.
Too "Cringe" probably?
I'm all for that. I doubt Sonic Team will listen to the ramblings of some guy on the internet but I think they should consider making a "side-game" attached to Sonic Frontier. Just as Secret Rings had Party Mode or Shadow's game had competitive matches.
The side-game should be an MMO for Avatars in style of PSO2 games. This side-game can still be built around the main games programming and all that and doesn't have to intervene with the main game, just as you said in the Dreamcast thread, Sega are learning from Fortnite that customization and social interactions are what makes games trend. I mean, even I figured that out since mid-20'00.
They already did many online games (Yakuza Online, Derby Owners Club, PSO2, Initial D, maimai, etc) and have community for them ... but so far ONLY in Japan.
They don't have resources or partner to do those globally ... at least until last year when Microsoft Corp. came in and closed the deal with SEGA so that SEGA could use their Azure cloud platform for global release of their new online games.
Problem is Sonic Frontiers was already developed before the deal so it less likely to use Azure cloud platform.
Then just rebuild it! If a single guy can remake most of it in Unity, so can Sonic Team.
Yes, but I heard there are islands (Menu Island, Music Island, Gallery Island, etc) in Sonic Origins so could it be that it was inspired by Sonic Jam Word Hub?
Dang... this is becoming tempted to get Roblox over... but I heard you need "Robux" to play this Speed Simulator so why bother?
No man, the speed simulator is free to play.
Totally 100% FREE !!!
Robux was just for those who want to try the beta release version and getting the limited Knuckles Chao/
