From what I understand, Penders did not win the case nor did Sega loose. They simply met with a stalemate. However Penders may file another lawsuit if Sega ever used the Marauders again.
Yeah, but at that time Archie couldn't find the contract he signed stating that they own any and all characters he made (and the likeness) so lawsuit potential still always exist.
I simply regard the Marauders still canon just no longer in use. Like Nack, Bark or Bean.
Nack, Bark or Bean were created by SEGA of Japan though,
not outside of them (comic companies or animated tv series company)
so they're still considered canon.
I mean third place is like being a top loser in a way.
At least Sonic was 1st place two weeks before and 2nd place one week before.
He's dropping slowly~
I miss going to my local blockbuster with my friend or DVD shop and simply browsing movies the old fashioned way for rent.
Yeah. I miss going to local gamestore too and finding game that I've never seen before.
Nowadays I know all new games from internet and when I bought games, I bought them online.
Sonic 3D Blast (Genesis) was one of them back then, seen it first time on my local gamestore.
It was an instabuy since I liked isometric view games and I love how smooth the graphic was on CRT screen.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4_ht1gL9eoThe graphic is kinda lost in modern TVs or PC.
Same thing's happened with Virtua Fighter 2 Genesis.
It looks bad on PC, isn't it?
But believe me, it was so cool and smooth on CRT TV screen.
