Based on the ol' Free-to-Play Hack & Slash game from Three Rings.

Seems like a Tower Defense-esque, strategy RPG unlike it's predecessor.

I really enjoyed playing the first game when it first came out, pretty fun little co-op dungeon crawler. is there a PC version too?

This is literally Spiral Chronicles (Chain Chronicle) xD

It seems that this game is in Beta. Lacks polish.

Yes, this is exactly like Chain Chronicles but with a Spiral Knights type art style instead of anime.

It's interesting, but I gotta say... "Rise of Knights" is a much more generic and forgettable name than "Spiral Knights."

If this makes SEGA more money than the actual Spiral Knights game, then I want off this planet.

I would say that video is a disgrace to the original, but the art/sound/music bring back good feels.
