We're planning to release at least one of our 30 authentic Sega Genesis / Mega Drive games in 2023, and use the proceeds to renovate our cozy little pizza place.
(Our games will be available in other formats, too.)

Back in 2007, I made a promise when I was batting stage 4b cancer that if I survived, I'd do my best to make something special that celebrates our community and brings people together. With great humility and gratitude, I'm so excited to finally fulfill that promise.⠀
Thanks so much - for everything. I wish I could tell you how much your encoragement has meant over the years. It's just pizza & games...but I hope our little 16-bit pizza company brings joy and happy memories into the world. It already has for me.

A very early work in progress of a Sega Master System version of Castlevania that I am developing. Inspired by the x68000 version, or Playstation Chronicles classic version. I did this as a proof of concept code for scrolling, which was later applied to my SMS TMNT project. That was the main goal, to get level loading scrolling code into SMS TMNT. I later added in jumping physics into this, for Ss and Gs.

The yakitori chef simulation game ``Yakitori Master Torimasu'', which was released simultaneously on MSX, GG, and GB in March 2022, is now available on MD with a deluxe upgrade.
In addition to the previous 4 fires, 8 fires and battles (2 people / CPU) are now possible.
In addition to the 2-minute mode used in the national tournament, a new rank certification (endless) mode has been added.
It is said that this "Yakitori Master Torimatsu DX" will be used in the finals of the national competition. As a bonus, there is also a karaoke mode for the image song "Yakitori Life".

I plan on tweaking the levels a bit so there's not so many objects, on the floor in total or bunched together, so to keep the frame rate up to around 6fps. Even with no enemies or objects the ray-casting engine still only runs at around 8fps.

Feedback is welcome, it helps clarifies what's important and gives me motivation to work on it. Even if it's something I've fixed and I haven't quite got right, I don't mind hearing about it.
