I'll continue until Shadow is introduced to the game. Because I at least have some high expectations for Shadow than just grinding. Expectations I personally messaged Gamefam for.
But I don't really feel like I'm "ahead" with this game so quitting won't be difficult. I more feel like "Oh god I hope Sonic Frontiers won't have shit like this!"
Can you imagine? Sonic Team releasing special events for Sonic Frontiers, and it's just collecting stuff around the common areas! I would find that an insult.
For Sonic Frontiers, yeah.
But for Sonic Dash, Forces Mobile, and most mobile games?
Collecting stuff is very common.
If we treat Sonic Speed Simulator as a mobile game (played it on a phone), it's very normal.
Of course I can still see why PC gamers would feel disappointed.

This genuinely makes me feel angry over this crap. It's literally the same shitty event as last time just reskinned.
What was bad about the Classic Tails event was that it was confined to Green Hill to do while the rest of the zones were still for the Sonic Riders event. I figured maybe they'll get enough feedback to realize how much of a mistake this was or how high the bar was set for grinding, but no. This is going to be the new shitty norm now for the game.
I won't quit Speed Sim entirely, not until Shadow's event lets me down. That and Speed Sim as a game is still rather good , I just dunno what good substitutes on Roblox to take up my time on.
Not just "rather good", it's still the best official Free-To-Play Sonic game around.
(despite the events aren't as good as it used to be)
Good substitute would be the non free one later .... Sonic Frontiers.
