I noticed a girl with stars and rings in that new video you posted, she could represent Sonic......though given she has what looks like a mouse tail, could represent Chu Chu Rocket. That or "Needlemouse".

Sonic is a big gun... I think they will save Sonic for Half Year or 1st Year Anniversary.

Also if Amy Rose could make it, I'd like this kind of design (top left), a gyaru kind who chased after MC...

I don't think Amy Rose will make it in. If we have a moe anthro of the Sonic franchise she can't simply look like SOnic. I mean take a look at the Virtua Fighter character, she has some resemblance to Akira Yuki but she is clearly her own character, with those diamonds representing the polygons of the first game.
But maybe Sonic will not get a pass into RE:SET because the character so far debut in arcade releases, unlike SOnic who only had  few arcade games after his console release. So I doubt he will get a pass now that I think about it/ Just be cool if he did.

You're right.. So far the characters revealed are from arcade games.
I didn't notice that since in my first time playing Fantasy Zone was on Master System, forget that it's started as an arcade game.
