It is..
Arkanoid is a clone of breakout.
The difference back then that Arkanoid introduced power up system and how the balls changed their direction.
Those innovations resulting in a significantly higher overall quality compared to original breakout.

Looks kinda f**ked up... my guess the last option between two routes is a trick question and that they'll be alright in the end.... I think.

Break Out was the first but the control wasn't perfect, Arkanoid fixed the way the ball moves and it became the standard of all breaker games.
