True, but still freemium games can make just as much, even more than big-budget games with only minimum to substantial efforts. So it can be appealing for developers to decide to make their popular franchises or brands get a freemium spin-off or have freemium exclusives. Genshin Impact being an example.

I mean, if I were to rip-off Genshin Impact, I would use
VRoid Studio to make models with and Stable Diffusion Online or even Craiyon for rough concept art of cute anime girl characters. Then I would apply these models to some sort of "master template" where I can set stats, abilities and what-not.
