My multi system D-terminal cable I have hooked up on my 360, PS2, and Wii audio only works when I unplug the other two systems. I'm kind of annoyed that it doesn't improve anything and still requries me to unplug something. Yargh what a waste of 3500 yen!
I know it's not d-terminal, but I use one of these with the same console setup.
It works quite well.
Thanks for the tip. I wish I had composite hookups but I'm kind of stuck with what I got. I actually found a D-terminal version of that with a swtich and everything for just a few 100 yen more. Oh well, I just figured I'd put all the game systems affected on a power strip with independant switches.
It seems to do the job well enough and helps keep my systems from siphoning off power when they aren't in use. My fat PS2 and 360 are horrible offenders at this as they are the primary reason the cable I have won't play nice. They draw power even when they are off.
