Glad you like the new format! And I swear, the grim SEGA of America news is what brought this place back to life, as strange as that is.
George has been kicking ass on Weekly Five - I'd like to claim some behind-the-scenes responsibility for the new videos, but its like 99.9% George, so kudos and karma points and kartel swag bags to him!
The theme weeks and theme months gave George and I some much needed focus on content. In the past, we had our features, but what to focus on was all over the place. Having the ability to freely pick from whatever we want sounded great, but it was difficult to break from our comfort zones. Theme weeks and months force us (in a positive way) to write about stuff we usually wouldn't and try games that we haven't gotten around to trying. I'm especially looking forward to Smilebit month where we hope to talk about Smilebit's lesser talked about games like their big headed baseball games and GunValkyrie.
