Fuck this shit!

I have 3 exams I need to pass. There are 2 chances for passing them. So I decided to leave the hardest one (Mathematical Analysis III) to the second coming next month, and nail the other two right now so I could study peacefully.

Spent 2 fucking weeks studying for this single exam that I wanted to nail, fucking Numerical Calculus.
Fucking shit fuck fuck. It was HORRIBLE. Now I'm screwed! This shit was supposed to be easy. It was ludicrous.

I much rather had spent these 2 past weeks studying for the hardest one.

OK, are there any decent freeware alternatives to Adobe Dreamweaver?

if you don't mind not having a graphical editor, Notepad++ is great.

@Shadi

I use Notepad++ a lot. In conjuction with the WWW directory on the Apache httpd server. It's not bad, but a lot of times I would prefer to have a real WYSIWYG interface.

But enought about that...

I know how you feel. Hate it when that happens.

Saint John's is that crazy time of the year in Oporto. The night between July 23rd and 24th is that one time of the year when:
-people buy cute rubber hammers and plow people on the head with them;
-eat grilled sardines and drink wine from street vendors;
-Dance in the street;
-Watch an amazing firework show;
-Launch balloons with candles in 'em;
-Go up the infamous Escadas dos Guindais and attempt to count every single step;

Bought Sonic Adventure 2 for the Dreamcast. 10 euro, a bargain.

Thing is the disc is scratched. It doesn't seem all that bad, but one of the scratches may be deep enough to freeze the game at random loadings.

Sometimes it doesn't even get passed the SEGA screen. The system identifies the disc as legit, starts it up, then backs off to the menu.

I've tried toothpaste, shoe wax, eyeglass cleaner... Am now looking for some store with those disc polishing machines.

The toothpaste as far as I'm aware does not work... at all. Quite the opposite.
Some GAME stores have that service, but I don't know which ones.

None, apparently. I went to Almada, they said they had theirs being fixed up and that it was the last one of all stores (as they were breaking down, the managers didn't think it was worth investing in new ones)

I was hoping for Portugal to win (Rather Spain to lose) but now my support will fall back to ze Germans, best shot at crushing Spain.

I really thought we would better Spain. I think Portugal really stood up to them and maybe showed better teams how to break their game.

I'm quite sad, but the players gave their best, and I have nothing but pride on them.

I'm on the same ballpark as you.

I was upset they lost, but not crushed or anything. Penalties shots are something that's always random. It can go either way. The important thing is that we stood toe-to-toe with Spain. I've been listening to the ESPN podcast on this and everything they said rang true: Spain jumped the shark. They became way too predictable for their own good. They played all their tricks from 4 years ago: Gang up on Ronaldo, do their dominating passes, do solid defense, send Fabregas in. None of that worked here.

They aren't gonna have the same luck with Germany, or Italy.
