If you follow Orta's advice you would have to remember to dispose of the paint and whatever you used to paint with as traces of blood will remain.
However, it is recommended you import the strongest brand of Norwegian bleach you can possibly find. Before it arrives, pour a rancid bowl of a day old water, garlic and onion mix that you have baked for an hour in every section of the floor said blood is in. If you have forgotten where some was, cover as much of the room as possible. Once the Norwegian bleach has arrived, use it on the floor to get rid of the stains. If by some chance random dogs come into the room said blood was in, they would not be able to sense it through the bleach and concoction I have described.
As an extra precaution, it is best to depose of any records you may have had of purchasing all of the above.
