Rumor: Shenmue I & II HD coming to PlayStation 4 & Xbox One According to Retailer Leaks

shenmueWe just reported a previous rumor that Vanquish and Bayonetta is getting a double pack release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but it seems that Shenmue I & II HD might be joining the rumor party as it has also been leaked by multiple retailers. The double pack has been leaked by Alza (same one that leaked the Bayonetta and Vanquish ones), Heureka, GetGame, and MadeGamer! Earlier this year, it was rumored that Shenmue I & II HD where suppose to be coming out by the end of the year, according to Rice Digital, then we had the CEO of Just Add Water say that these ports have been in works earlier this year. We had so much information about these ports being possible that we even did a whole video on it.

It would make sense considering that SEGA Europe has stated in the past that Shenmue I & II HD have had their full attention and then right after they registered Shenmue Remaster related domains.  I will say this is highly probable. What is your opinion? Will you pick up Shenmue I & II HD on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One? Are you excited to dip back into the world of Shenmue?

    …Switch? 🙁

Hopefully! Also would be great to see a PC release, too.

Naw, not a Nintendo system, Sega software just isn’t right on it, doesn’t do as well either (look at the paltry reception of Yakuza 1&2 on the Wii), the best option would obviously be on Sega hardware but it isn’t feasible today, so the next best is usually Xbox and PC, and PS (but mainly for Japan because of Yakuza is a huge deal there). I don’t get why some people are so obsessed with asking Sega to put Sega product on it specifically when superior versions always exist on other platforms, and wants of having Nintendo buy out Sega (which will never ever happen by the way due to their styles being too different for one), it’s either Ninty buffs or furries who just only care about Sonic and having on a system that they also have actual curries on like Pikachu and pikman and all these other cutesey platformers.

    • Eccles says:

      *Furries.

      (Typo)

Probably not as Sega does not seem to give much support to it unless its an easy game to port Like Sonic Mania or Pyo or make gimped versions like Forces. If this is happening (Which i think it is) its coming from Sega Europe who are Mostly A Pc division and have yet to put out something on the switch and seem to be for consoles mostly Ps4 and sometimes Xbox

    • George says:

This doesn’t mean it isn’t coming to PC, its being handled by SEGA Europe and they are very PC friendly. I’d say it just means the PC version won’t have a physical copy or its not happening yet.

    • itsstillthinking says:

Opps sorry, when i meant pc division i also meant at the same time that it was coming out for that too

    Please be true!!

Sega does denuvo. Denuvo is frowned upon in the pc community. Even non pirates pirate denuvo games. They will probably delay it and implement denuvo

  4. Gunstar Hero says:

STREETS OF RAGE 4 is next Sega fan game to be published

  5. jimi Andreas says:

i dont know if ill delve into the whole game again but im gonna have to check it out,see how it feels

  6. Miguel says:

I wish they could do this with Panzer Dragoon Saga.

  7. Brianzilla2004 says:

Xbox One. I have both consoles, but surely it’ll perform best on the upcoming X. Plus, I just like the Xbox platform better. Hopefully they’ll continue supporting the Xbox going forward. This year has been great for Sega on Xbox!

  8. I’m torn about wanting a PC version. On one side, I’ve wanted to play Shenmue for awhile, but considering the fact that they crammed Denuvo into Sonic Mania, I’m not sure I trust them at this point.
