Kickass torrents has been the more popular of the two sites in recent times.

And IsoHunt has resurrected the Piratebay.

I just don't get what they are attempting to achieve by closing down TPB. The torrent files will still be out there..anywhere. There are hundreds of trackers.

It makes them feel like they've accomplished something.

The rest of us who actually know the workings of such sites will only continue to laugh at them.

Yeah that is a very...not significant dent into p2p filesharing stuff. That's not the heart of the operation.
