This guy is really happy (some spoilers inside):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyWW6Qf4ZHI

So far, are are my impressions:

-The first two hours or so, are kinda dull, IMO;
-However, once the Xeno shows up it's a whole different ballpark;
-My first deadly encounter with the Alien was literally by surprise, as he just stabbed me in the back in a random spot;
-The game is scary, that sound design is so awesome that as soon as you hear a bit of scurrying, I want to run and hide;
-Those Joes are creepy and only now I've managed to kill ONE and they really don't go down easy;
-It's more than just survival horror, quite a lot of puzzle solving and searching for clues while the Xeno may or may not be around.
-The Alien AI is just amazing, I'm tense when it shows up, but I'm also fascinated by it's behaviour. If it sees you, it's almost certainly game over, unless you just manage to break his line of sight, but he so much as suspects that you're there, he'll be much more intrusive and search the room multiple times, turn back one last time just to make sure nobody there. If a massive explosion or alarm goes off, it'll even be more jittery and move around a lot more, instead of hiding around in the vents, waiting to snatch you up. It'll kill any human NPC on sight and it's just gruesome.

There are a few negatives, despite the fact that I had to do a massive install on the 360 version, loading times are huge;
In the 360 version, I've had a couple of random glitchs, some of them game breaking. Especially early on, don't know if this is just confined to the Xbox 360 version...

So the first week worth of data is out (Well mostly European and other regions.) and it paints an overall good picture, not excellent or above expectations, but good.

WEEK 41 UK CHARTS - Multiplatform Position - 2nd (Estimated sales are at around 50,000 - 55,000)
Individual formats are as follows;
05   (NE)   PS4   ALIEN: ISOLATION   (SEGA)
 09   (NE)   XBO   ALIEN: ISOLATION   (SEGA)
 13   (NE)   360   ALIEN: ISOLATION   (SEGA)
 20   (NE)   PS3   ALIEN: ISOLATION   (SEGA)
 33   (NE)   PC   ALIEN: ISOLATION   (SEGA)
http://www.chart-track.co.uk/index.jsp?c=p%2Fsoftware%2Fuk%2Farchive%2Findex_test.jsp&ct=110032&arch=t&lyr=2014&year=2014&week=41

WEEK 41 GERMANY CHARTS
Individual formats are as follows;
09   (97)   PS4   ALIENS: ISOLATION - RIPLEY EDITION   (KOCH MEDIA)
 29   (NE)   PC   ALIENS: ISOLATION - RIPLEY EDITION   (KOCH MEDIA)
 32   (NE)   XBO   ALIENS: ISOLATION - RIPLEY EDITION   (KOCH MEDIA)
 37   (NE)   PS3   ALIENS: ISOLATION - RIPLEY EDITION   (KOCH MEDIA)

*Please note the reason Alien: Isolation was 97 the previous week for the PS4 version was due to street date being broken at certain retailers early. Also Aliens: Isolation is how the game is referred to on the charts funny enough.

WEEK 41 FRANCE CHARTS
Unfortunately the French charts only shows the top 5 best selling individual format titles and Alien: Isolation only makes it on the top 3 selling PC titles at third.

WEEK 41 BELGIUM CHARTS
Alien: Isolation does not break into the top 5 selling individual format titles but manages to make top 5 selling PC titles at 4th position.

WEEK 41 SWEDEN CHARTS - Multiplatform Position - 4th

Information compiled thanks to PAL Charts topic;

Another thing to note is the game is back at 9th position on the Steam charts. Looks like the Creative Assembly's PC background is helping keeping the title alive over there, I do believe it's going to enjoy a good selling life.

i don't know how far you are. the environment is scary, but you get used to it after a while, but dont worry, they won't let you get complacent ;) if you do get complacent bad things happen.

Wish I could have joined ya'll in all this, but i've been a little rusty lately and needed some more cheerful games to play. Im alright now though and the impressions i've gotten from reviews and everything have been great. I heard the game kind of drags on towards the end though. Anyone got that feeling?

it's not too late. as for the ending i cant comment on it, i still haven't made it that far. This game is so scary i just spend forever trying to figure out what to do while hiding. The Alien is scripted at times, but that's only to increase the scares your first time through an area. none of it makes the game predictable. That Alien is really smart, got some crazy good AI. It learns from how you play too so you cant do the same thing over and over, among other things. lol

the game also eases you in and allows you to get used to the environment. the environment alone is scary enough xD

check out this video and watch this guys reactions. This game is good heart exercise.

Spoilers:
At the half of the game more or less, the enemy is not the alien anymore, the androids and the mother computer of the spaceship are.
When that time come the game loss a bit of the tension, but it is still very fun in my opinion. In that moment you learn more about the story itself.
Besides at the last 2 hours you encounter again with the alien so i think this idea was more to not sick the player with the alien ALL the time and have in some moments others enemies before the ending.
Mariano, can you spoiler that with a white font colour? It's a major for anyone who hasn't played and completed the game!

And I'd like to add I don't think the game drags, it just happens to stop topping itself after a certain point. I am sure you'll be broken long before that though...

done. i saw it. guess that's my punishment for not getting spoiler tags back on here yet, but it's not a big deal, the android's are just as scary if not more so, IMO xD

So FW Sales are up in VGChartz: http://www.vgchartz.com/gamedb/?name=Alien%3A+Isolation&publisher=&platform=&genre=&minSales=0&results=200

-370k all consoles, possibly 410k shipped.
-190k PS4 version
-Possibly 50k digital sales.

Overall, not the best FW for this season and it doesn't even close to Shadow of Mordor but this is the best FW for any Sega game for consoles in a long time and with the DLC, it could possibly have some good legs and reach the 1.2m at the end of the year.

Can we trust in those sales? sometimes VGChartz dont give proper numbers...

Is an estimate. We can expect later the real sales in the Q3 Report (February 2015 I think).
