I recently bought an VGA to HDMI converter box for my system. I already had the VGA box & connected everything up. WOW!!! I was running at 480p & it looked cleaner than using just the VGA box. I have a 46' 240hz tv & it looks fantastic. I'll see if I can post some pics in an hour or two.
Has anyone tried this with their Dreamcast?

Not yet, I have a VGA box that I will use to connect my dc to a 21" CRT Monitor :D.

When I bought our 42" Plasma, I was pumped to get a Dreamcast VGA box. Got the TV home and realized that it did not have a VGA input. Instead of punching a hole in the wall, I checked online and picked up the awesome Monoprice VGA to HDMI converter: http://www.monoprice.com/products/produ ... 1&format=2 (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=101&cp_id=10114&cs_id=1011404&p_id=4629&seq=1&format=2)
Been rockin' it for almost 2 years, fantastic quality. Though it is quite a lot to look at. Dreamcast -> VGA box -> VGA cable -> VGA to HDMI converter box -> HDMI cable -> tv. Still, if it works, it works!

Want.
I've never played my Dreamcast with progressive picture. Closest I got to it was playing Shenmue through the composite cables into an ATI All-in-Wonder card. Gave me motion sickness, but it was a nice experiment to play DC through my PC monitor.
I always use my old RCA 27in SD TV (which I was away from for 3 years), with its fantastic bleeding colors.

Going to order this, I have a few games I wanted to play.
